Summary
We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Industrial Chemical Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for operational support to the Central Transport Team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Help to co-ordinate the Order to Delivery process to improve the efficiencies of the Transport Operation as a whole.
- Share your knowledge & experience within ICL to improve Customer Service Performance.
- Act as a focal point for Transport Planners to assist in their decision making daily.
- Assist with the collation of Performance KPIs for the ICL Transport Operation.
- Assist with the collation of Performance KPIs for all Sub-contractors
- Assist with the collation of Performance KPIs for Vehicle Maintenance.
- Help the Transport Planners in ensuring that Delivery Plans are accurately confirmed to reflect what took place.
- Where directed give training to Transport Personnel on Tachograph Controls.
- Assist the Transport Planning Manager in his day-to-day activities.
- Responding to customer enquiries, providing quotations and keeping them updated as to the progress of deliveries.
- Where required support the Customer Service Team.
- Producing weekly KPIs as directed by your Line Manager.
- Act as a focal point for Transport Systems to ensure they are used to their potential.
- Undertake incident investigations and refer for disciplinary action where appropriate.
- Act as a named representative on the Company Operator’s License.
- Managing priorities to achieve desired results and deadlines.
- Leading by example with a self-motivated, "can do" approach to achieving requirements & targets.
Experience:
- Transport Planning
- Use of Planning System e.g. Ortec, Paragon etc
- Transport Operations
- Dealing with a Driver Workforce
- Tanker Experience (Preferably chemicals)
- Customer Service
- Tachograph Analysis Systems
- Excel Spreadsheets

Working Hours: 09:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday
