Deutsche Bank are building out a new private cloud which will cover new capabilities in BMaaS (Bare Metal as-a-service), VMaaS (Virtual Machines as-a-service), CaaS (Container as a Service) and CCP (Common Control Plane) and are looking for an infrastructure standards Lead SME to join the team to work across the product groups, architecture and security teams to ensure standards are adhered to in every product and understood by every application team, group audit and second line functions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Ascertaining transformation requirements from multiple stakeholders and divergent data sources from high-level through to in-depth technical investigation on major compute operating systems and stateless hosted environments. Collating these on a per transformation initiative basis and producing compliance templates that can be widely used to regularly report with

  • Collaborating closely with CIOs, Estate Managers and IT application owners on changes that they need to execute so that applications are transformation ready as well as tracking and reporting progress

  • Producing monthly reporting decks for transformation heads and stakeholders

  • Aligning with key transformation stakeholders providing guidance on prioritizing transformations based on the least remediations that must first take place so that progress can be quickly made

  • Provide strong management on prioritisation topics with technology stakeholders through investigative abilities and solid communication

  • Work as part of a team-of-teams to integrate the infrastructure services with a common control plane.

Your skills and experience

  • Large scale experience of data analytics with divergent datasets producing combined reporting

  • Strong technical expertise in the infrastructure stack covering major compute operating systems, stateless products

  • Experience of the requirements for major infrastructure and application transformations

  • Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels

  • Exposure to AI analysis on large datasets an advantage

  • Experience with using Hyperscalers, ideally Google Cloud Platform.
