Overview
Experienced, professional trainer required to deliver a 5-day, 1 week course in Traffic Management to a group of 20 professionals currently working for local government. The specific course content is to be confirmed but topics may include:
· Traffic Management Operations
· Road Traffic Accident Field Investigations
· Planning, Development and Policy in the Traffic Department
· Traffic Movement Analysis
· Data Modelling and Analytics in the Traffic Department
There is the possibility of the course being repeated for other groups and different topics related to Traffic Management.
The initial course is to be delivered in a Manchester city centre hotel from the middle of August (start date to be confirmed).
Trainer must be experienced and qualified to deliver courses in this subject area.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programmes that enhance skills and knowledge. This role requires an individual who can effectively communicate, manage training sessions, and drive engagement among participants.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive training materials and programmes (hours for preparation to be confirmed)
- Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and effective.
- Communicate clearly with participants to facilitate understanding and retention of information.
- Manage participant feedback and assessments to continuously improve training methods and materials.
- Drive motivation and enthusiasm among trainees to encourage active participation and learning.
Experience
- Proven experience in a training or instructional role, preferably within a public organisation
- Strong ability to maintain an organised approach to planning and executing training sessions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in managing groups effectively, ensuring all participants are included and supported throughout the learning process.
