Job Summary
We’re looking for a Trainee Woodworker to help manufacture our bespoke timber play equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in woodworking — no prior experience is needed, and full training will be provided.
You’ll be working in our workshop as part of a friendly team, helping to build and repair high-quality timber structures used in playgrounds and public spaces..
Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling various materials (mainly timber)
- Manufacturing and repairing timber play structures to BS EN 1176 safety standards
- Supporting workshop tasks and keeping work areas organised
- Assisting with site preparation or installation if required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Opportunity for paid overtime
What We’re Looking For
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Strong timekeeping and organisational skills
- Commitment to safety and working as part of a team
- English fluency is not required — basic communication skills are fine
- Driving licence is essential due to our workshop location
Previous woodworking experience is a bonus but not essential.
