What’s the role all about?
As a Trainee Welfare Benefits Adviser, you’ll be helping people to boost their finances, guiding them through the complex world of benefits, grants, and support schemes. But don’t worry – we’ll train you to do all that. Here’s a taste of what your day-to-day might look like:
- Talking to customers on the phone, building trust, and being a reassuring voice for those who need help.
- Helping people increase their income by checking benefit entitlements, identifying savings, and spotting opportunities to improve their financial situation.
- Being a problem-solver — making calls, writing emails, and filling out forms to help customers access the support they’re entitled to.
- Learning and growing — keeping up to date with welfare benefits, grants, and debt advice through hands-on training and support from our experienced advisers.
You’ll be part of a friendly, people-first team that celebrates kindness, empathy, and patience. Every day is different, and every customer’s story is unique.
