We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Assistants to cover both day and evening shifts, working in the Hythe Community.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Your shifts would look like 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm, with alternate weekend availability. We have full or part time work available.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
- Administering medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Escorting clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or behavior
Requirements:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Right to work in the UK
