Position Overview:
We are looking for a Trainee Financial Adviser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Financial Advisers in preparing financial plans, conducting research into investment options, liaising with third parties to gather financial information and maintaining accurate client records.
- Candidates will ideally hold a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or be working towards this as a minimum.
- Full training plan and career path, within a stable business environment. Once fully qualified the role would extend and ultimately be that of advising existing and new clients on their financial planning requirements and provide great earning potential.
Basic Salary from £25,000
This role is mainly office-based with the advancement into a hybrid role.
This opportunity is based at our upcoming Nottingham office, which is currently in development. As we expand our regional presence, this role offers a unique chance to be part of the foundation of our Nottingham team and grow with the office from the outset.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to advisers, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations
- Collating and organising client financial information, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Preparing detailed illustrations and client valuations in preparation for client meetings
- Conducting thorough fund research to support financial planning recommendations
- Compiling and drafting Suitability Reports, ensuring they align with clients’ financial objectives and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring client files remain fully compliant with industry standards and company policies
- Managing cases from start to finish, ensuring all actions are completed on time and to a high standard, with regular updates provided to clients and advisers
About You:
- CII Level 4 Diploma (desirable)
- Comfortable handling a heavy workload and adapting to shifting priorities
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines
- Work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of work
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Ability to work as part of a team or on their own, using initiative
- Highly organised & methodical with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; particularly Excel
