What we are Looking for?
Title – Trainee Insurance & Mortgage Adviser
Location – Heath Farm Business Centre, Tut Hill, Fornham All Saints, IP28 6LG
As a Trainee adviser, you will spend time with each of the staff here, learning the Fairfield way of Insurance and Mortgage. We will support you through your CeMap qualifications to become a qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser. Your duties will include:
- Case administration – learning the way we collate the information from the clients and presenting it to the lenders
- Case progression - seeing the mortgage and protection cases through to completion
- General Insurance – helping clients with their existing and new home insurance policies
- Shadowing our lead mortgage and protection advisers.
- Paraplanning for the Mortgage and Protection advisers.
- Once qualified and you have reached your KPIs you can move into your Insurance and Mortgage adviser role
During training and once qualified you will have ongoing support and take part in regular training to build your industry knowledge. You will take part in 1 to 1s, team meetings where we celebrate successes and address areas and ideas for improvements. Whilst keeping up to date with compliance.
You will work closely with all the staff here at Fairfield as well as keeping in close contact with Lenders, Providers, Conveyancers to ensure our customers are kept updated throughout the process.
Requirements:
To fit in with our team, you would need to have a strong work ethic, demonstrate a willingness to succeed and most importantly care about what you do. In addition to this we would love it if you are:
- Ambitious, driven and a self-starter
- Have a proven ability to develop strong relationships with customers and team members
- Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organised with exceptional time management skills.
Benefits
- Starting salary of £23,000- £26,500 per annum
- Once qualified your salary will increase to £25,000-£28,000
- Quarterly Bonus Scheme
- Working hours 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday with one evening a week.
