Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in electrical engineering and design. As a Trainee Electrical Control Panel Designer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop your skills in designing electrical control systems, creating wiring diagrams, and preparing technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of electrical control panels using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN)
- Create wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and bills of materials
- Support senior engineers with project planning and documentation
- Learn to interpret customer specifications and technical requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and standards
Skills
- A keen interest in electrical engineering and control systems
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and circuit design
- Familiarity with CAD and EPLAN software is an advantage (training will be provided)
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or working towards it
