Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for a Trainee Clinical Practice Educator to support the delivery of training and education across the Care Directorate, while undertaking a development programme to build their skills as an educator.
About the Role
Acorns provides care for babies, children and young people, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, both in our hospices and in their homes. Our care teams are part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team delivering care packages that are tailored to each child’s individual holistic needs.
As a Trainee Clinical Practice Educator, you will:
- Support the development and delivery of an education plan that supports Acorns strategy and workforce development
- Work with clinical teams to ensure clinical competency and skills development to support delivery of evidence-based care
- Develop, deliver and evaluate digital and face-to-face learning packages
- Complete an education/teaching qualification

- Registered Healthcare Professional
- Knowledge of the training cycle
- Knowledge of safeguarding children
- IT literate
