CAD Technician (Traffic Management)
Fourways Traffic Management Ltd is a small family run traffic management design company established in 2021. We have recently won new business with multiple major clients, which adds to our already diverse portfolio of clients, both in the highways and utilities sectors. We are looking to further expand our team and this is an exciting period of growth for the company.
The Role
We currently have a vacancy for a CAD technician working from our Sheffield office. Reporting to the project manager, you will be responsible for producing traffic management designs in a CAD format using BricsCad and Cone 11. You will complete TTRO, TTL and associated applications to local authorities.
Duties of the role
Train to:
· Produce a range of high quality TM designs such as, road closures & diversions, traffic lights & lane closures.
· Review drawings as part of the design process.
· Produce drawings that comply with Chapter 8.
· Conduct site visits/ surveys when required.
· Liaise with clients and local authorities.
· Complete and submit TTRO, TTL and associated applications to local authorities.
Ideal candidate
· Hold a current and valid driving licence.
· A minimum of 2 year’s traffic management experience.
· Hold Lantra qualification in or train towards NHSS M7. Further qualifications are advantageous.
· Have a solid understanding of Chapter 8 and the traffic management industry or train to..
· A minimum of 2 year’s AutoCAD/ BricsCAD and Cone 11 experience but not essential.
· Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
· Good written and verbal communication.
· Strong work ethic and a team player.
Benefits
· £28.500.- £32,000 depending on experience.

· 07:30- 17:00 Monday- Friday.
