Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Traffic Manager to oversee and optimise the flow of goods and services within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of traffic logistics, ensuring efficient movement of products from suppliers to customers.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of traffic operations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Monitor transportation costs and suggest cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in transportation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in traffic management or logistics coordination is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities to address challenges proactively.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
