We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking timber workshop operative/installer to join our team. This role requires a motivated individual who is punctual, dependable and prepared to work in a variety of challenging environments. This role can involve a lot of heavy lifting.
The successful applicant will on occasion be required to install our signage at various locations throughout the UK, this may include the necessity for overnight stays (costs covered by BSG).
Responsibilities:
- Assemble signs and related components, ensuring they meet design specifications and client requirements.
- Maintain high-quality standards, ensure accurate work, and manage materials efficiently.
- Install signs on client premises, which may involve working at heights or from elevated platforms.
- Maintain workshop equipment and keep the workspace clean and organized
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols when operating machinery and handling materials.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
- Punctual and dependable
- Capacity to handle heavy and bulky items and work at height when necessary.
- Willing to work in a range of adverse weather and site conditions when installing
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and suggest improvements to the production process.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and production goals.
