Are you a Front of House or Administrative professional looking for temporary work?
We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our Front of House team for 1 week to cover holiday leave.
Overview:
Dates: Friday 25th July – Friday 1st August 2025
Hours: Monday-Thursday - 9:00am-5:30pm, Friday - 9:00am-5:00pm, with 1 hour for lunch towards the middle of the day - a total of 44 hours
With free parking on-site, our Head Office based in Trumpington, Cambridge provides a modern, professional space where you will be the friendly face to greet our visitors.
As our Front of House Assistant, you’ll work independently, managing daily tasks with confidence and professionalism.
You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing front-of-house services - meeting and greeting clients and staff from other offices.
- Providing a telephony service to the Cambridge offices – taking messages and transferring calls.
- Ensuring the in-house services are provided to a high standard at all times - making sure any enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
- Servicing meeting rooms ensuring refreshments are topped up and the space looks presentable at all times.
- General service-related admin tasks.
- Supporting Facilities colleagues, with ad-hoc duties e.g. room services for Cambridge site.
- Arranging courier/taxi bookings.
- Reserving parking spaces for interviewees and visitors.
About You:
- A friendly personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and a 'can do’ attitude.
- A team player - someone who will enjoy working as part of a solid team and has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail along with a presentable and professional appearance.
- A creative approach to resolving problems.
- Proactive with a flexible attitude.
- Happy to embrace covering other duties within the wider facilities team, when required to do so.
- Ideally you will have previous Front of House/Reception experience.
