Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and transport materials on construction sites. This role requires a keen understanding of machinery and safety protocols to ensure efficient operations while maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Operate the telehandler to lift and transport materials as required on-site.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material handling tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Ability to dig and handle various materials safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination on-site.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
Must have a valid Telehandler ticket with suspended loads and CSCS.
