Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Telecoms Rigger with TEL003/TEL004 EAL Level 3 certified to support telecoms site builds and upgrades in Central Scotland and Midlands. This is a contract-based role with a daily rate of £200. The ideal candidate will have experience in rigging, 3G, 4G, and 5G site builds, as well as expertise in Power Resilience Surveys, fibre installation, microwave dish rigging, and cable testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCN Rigging – Installation and maintenance of telecoms equipment.
- 3G, 4G, 5G Site Builds – Supporting the deployment of new telecoms infrastructure.
- RET Set Up & Testing – Using a Kathrein RET tool for testing and configuration.
- Microwave Dish Rigging – Installation and alignment of microwave transmission equipment.
- Fibre Installation & Testing – Using OTDR or iOLM on an Exfo tester.
- Fibre Scoping – Conducting Exfo fibre scoping for quality assurance.
- Feeder Cable Testing – Performing Anritsu Site Master feeder cable testing.
- Site Work – Experience working on streetworks and greenfield sites.
- Power Resilience Surveys
