Section I: JOB PURPOSE
Designing and defining new products that pertain to customer applications.
Section II: ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develops initial drawings of new components to produce practical designs based on pre-confirmed customer information
- Amends current drawings
- Maintains the drawing database
- Builds new Bill of Material List and GA Drawings with supervisor input
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design concepts
- Work effectively in a team environment
- All other duties as assigned
Section III: POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an engineering environment and a demonstrated ability to independently produce innovative and successful designs as part of large projects or small projects.
- Proficient in software applications, 2D & 3D package skills, ideally Inventor and AutoCad.
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
- Ability to recognize customer products needs and trends in the marketplace which affect product requirements.
- Detailed Oriented
- Ability to work within a team as well as alone
