You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
You'll report into the Business Support Manager.
You’ll support the operational teams with admin tasks like ordering materials, raising subcontract task orders, permitting road space and maintaining waste records. Are you comfortable managing multiple tasks at once?
You’ll handle incoming post, log it on SharePoint, manage office deliveries, book venues for meetings.
We’ll help you learn admin processes and you’ll scan and process documents for finance and admin teams, including timesheets and invoices.
You'll gain exposure to multiple teams such as, Street Lighting, permitting & operational teams.
This role is office-based. Are you comfortable working in an office environment?
The Operational team provides reactive support in times of extreme weather emergencies - Are you able to prioritise and manage shifting demands?
What you’ll bring
- You should be proficient in the MS Office suite & SharePoint
- You must have experience in an admin role and know how to enter data accurately into spreadsheets or databases
- You should be able to manage and archive records logically
- Our operational team utilise a range of mobile devices and applications which we support - are you tech savvy?
- You should be able to act as an administrative support to all levels of the organisation
- This role usually acts as one of the designated Fire Wardens & First Aiders for the site
