Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks, including cooking, plating, and cleaning as needed.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and contribute to team goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with basic maths skills for handling transactions and understanding portion sizes is advantageous.
