The post holder will ensure that an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative service is delivered to the Medical team which comprises of Consultant, Junior Doctors and Specialist Registrar staff within adult community mental health services across Glasgow City CHP.
This will include typing of clinics using digital dictation, diary management, general clinic management and all aspects of keeping EMIS up to date with relevant patient information. Also dealing with varied enquires from patients and relatives.
You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to set up documents and maintain and update databases/spreadsheets, showing competence in the use of a range of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualifications e.g. ECDL. The post holder works independently much of the time managing calls and emails.
Must show knowledge of working in an office environment and of operation of office equipment and systems. This may be through formal training or work experience.
The post holder will ensure that the single point of access operates effectively and will work independently for much of the time managing their daily workload and supporting the wider team.
