Brooklands are a nationwide contractor who undertake specialist cleaning and commercial painting projects.
In this advert we are looking to add a working team leader who will work closely with our office team and support our team of specialist cleaning technicians to grow our cleaning division further.
Each day you will travel to various sites from your home address using a specialist cleaning vehicle with on-board machinery which will be provided so you can provide support with:
1. Working on site ensuring jobs are completed to good standards and leading from the front
2. Providing training to new recruits and on-going support once training has completed
3. Auditing work of others and adherence to processed being followed on site
4. Provide support with RAMS

Role requirements:
· Experience in supervising/leading a team.
· Experience / knowledge of industrial cleaning services.
· Physically fit and able to carry out manual work all day long.
· Full driving licence (clean is preferred) and own transport.
· Located within a 30-minute drive from Nottingham town centre.
· CSCS card (must be obtained before joining).
· IPAF and PASMA tickets (preferred but not essential).
· You must be confident, hardworking and flexible.
· You must be responsible for yourself, others who work with you and for maintaining company vehicles and equipment making sure it is cleaned and packed away properly after each use.
· You will be required to complete weekly paperwork such as stock takes of your PPE and filling out reports following each job along with photographs to report on your work.
· You will be responsible for operating various tools, machinery and equipment which you will receive full training on how to safely operate. Often you will need to fix equipment on site should anything become loose or damaged so the job can be completed.
· This job requires high attention to detail.

Further information:
· The duration of each job will vary, hours are usually 7:30 until 4pm for general day time site work but you will be expected to work on a variety of jobs, you must be fully flexible and able and willing to work at short notice and at different times of the day and variable shift lengths.
· There will be a split between working along and sometimes within a team.
· Day to day our work is around the midlands, usually within a 1-hour drive but the company provides services all over the UK so some days may be travelling more than others.
· This type of cleaning is heavy duty and physically demanding, it is hard work but a rewarding job. Our technicians love making a difference to the surrounding environment.
· No two days are the same at Brooklands, you will meet lots of new people on your travels and carry out lots of different types of jobs.
