Job Title: Team Leader DAY - Children’s service
Locations: Great Barr, Birmingham
Max Salary: £33,246.00 Is based on maximum Base salary £28.926.00 plus 6 sleep ins per month.

Our Children's residential home in the Great Barr local community supports up to 3 x Children/young people with EBD or Mental Health difficulties. We are currently looking for a Team Leader.
Hours: Average 40 hours per week (1 on, 2 off day rota)
Contract: Permanent

Job Summary:
As the Team Leader for the Children's Home, some of your duties will be:
- Working with the Management team to ensure that systems and standards are maintained at a high quality level.
- You will be nominated daily shift lead, by planning organising and ensuring completion of team duties for the day and handover to oncoming shifts.
- You must be able to motivate, support and guidance for staff on duty, on all shifts. Provide Staff supervision and appraisals.
- To provide on call support for staff, from home on a rota basis.
- Organising rotas and ensuring correct deployment of staff team
- To actively promote and take part in social, leisure, educational, life skills, holidays and other activities with children and young people.
- To support each young person to maintain a high standard of personal care; including intimate care, personal hygiene, health and sexual health needs and awareness and any mobility support that is needed.
- To support the medical health needs of children and young people, inclusive of medication administration, medical appointments and therapeutic and mental health and wellbeing needs.

Qualification & Experience
- Experience in Residential childcare (Essential)
- Qualified - You must hold a Diploma Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare or equivalent (Essential)
