Team Leader - Children's Residential Support Worker
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £13.50 + Sleep Allowance of £50
Location: Leigh, Greater Manchester
Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people? We are looking for a Team Leader to join an outstanding Children's Home organisation located in Leigh, Greater Manchester.
As a Children's Residential Team Leader, you will:
- Provide emotional and practical support to children, helping to establish routines and activities such as cooking, sports, music, or even relaxing at home.
- Work collaboratively within a small team of six, supported by managers, multidisciplinary teams, education professionals, and outdoor activity specialists.
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children.
Shift Pattern
- Two days on, four days off, including sleep-ins, on a set rolling rota.
- Work just 10–11 days a month, offering a healthy work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Some level of experience working directly with children or in a care capacity (doesn’t have to be in a residential setting).
- Qualifications: Willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce or equivalent (or already have it).

- Enthusiastic and energetic with a resilient mindset.
- Recent experience working either as a Children's Home
- A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
