Calling all inspiring leaders! Are you ready to take on a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference? A brand-new opportunity awaits in the beautiful village of Cavendish where we’re opening an incredible children’s home that’s as unique as the children who’ll live there.
The Role: You’ll be the Team Leader, the Role Model Extraordinaire, and the Driving Force behind creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for up to 4 children aged 5 - 12. This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to help shape a brighter future and show off your leadership skills in an exciting new setting.
Salary: £33,731 per year, plus £50 per sleep-in
Overtime: Weekly paid overtime!
Shift Pattern: 2 on, 4 off—plenty of time to recharge and keep your energy high!
Annual Leave: 240 hours (equivalent to 30 days)—so you can enjoy well-deserved downtime.

What You’ll Be Doing: Providing a safe, supportive, and engaging home for the children to grow, thrive, and achieve their potential.Leading and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional care. Planning activities, supporting education, and fostering independence to help the children flourish.Ensuring the home runs smoothly with your top-notch organisational and leadership skills.
Our home is truly beautiful, with large outdoor spaces, cinema room, playroom, quiet spaces and open plan living!
About You: We’re looking for someone who’s:
- Passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their lives.
- An experienced leader who brings positivity and motivation to the team.
- Creative and proactive, with plenty of ideas to engage and nurture.
- Holds a Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce (this is essential!).
- Experienced in working with young people and understands the value of a loving, stable home environment.
