We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to make a major contribution to teaching and administration within the Department across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The focus of this post will be to contribute to the development and delivery of teaching in the MSc specialist stream in Security, although the successful candidate should also be able to teach on other modules.
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful Computer Science departments at an exciting time as we seek to expand our postgraduate provision and deliver a leading and innovative Computer Science curriculum.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline. A strong background in security and cryptography is essential. The appointee will also be expected to demonstrate experience in teaching a range of Computer Science topics in higher education, delivering engaging and stimulating sessions that inspire students and spark their imaginations.
