The Headteacher and Governors would like to appoint a patient, kind and proactive teaching assistant with experience to join our happy, friendly school.
Our school mission statement is ‘Work hard, dream big and never give up’. We hold very high expectations of our children and staff and believe that everyone, regardless of ability, can achieve; we recognise that this can look very different for different children.
The successful applicant may be required to support children in our Year 2 class.
Professional development is prioritised at our school and the successful candidate will receive training to support their role in school.
We are a successful and nurturing school and are lucky to have a very friendly, supportive staff, amazing children and a governing body who work hard with the children to promote our school’s Christian values:

JOB PURPOSE
The successful candidate will:

  • Be an exemplary practitioner, with excellent feedback from other professionals
  • Be prepared to go above and beyond to ensure children receive the highest quality curriculum and learning environment.
  • Take great pride in the classroom and ensure it is well-organised and accessible.
  • Be able to work reflectively and with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors.
  • Deliver inspiring activities for children which are inclusive and exciting.
  • Be resilient and have a range of strategies to manage behaviour in young children.
  • Participate and share in the responsibility for the safeguarding, well-being and behaviour of all the pupils.
