Job Purpose
Due to growth, complexity, and the drive for continuous improvement we are looking for a talent acquisition champion who thinks inclusively and will specialise in recruiting as well as in implementing relevant policies and process, and guiding hiring managers through effective interviewing techniques.
Along with recruiting for all level roles based in our UK offices, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will work closely with the International and Corporate recruiting teams and will focus on delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers, contributing to our overall Employer Branding and Employee Value Proposition.
The Talent Acquisition Advisor will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager in London and will be part of the wider global HR team.
Hybrid working available: at least 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers from job description preparation until new hire onboarding; guiding them through the recruitment process as their subject matter expert.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process through to offer stage, holding agency briefings, sifting CVs, arranging interviews, interviewing candidates / phone screening, preparing a shortlist of candidates for hiring managers, preparing interview scripts and providing feedback.
  • Use LinkedIn, and other relevant job boards to promote roles and drive direct sourcing, thereby reducing reliance of recruitment agencies and reducing costs.
  • Work closely with 3rd party agencies, liaising regularly and developing relationships.
  • Track candidates via an ATS, post job adverts and utilise direct job boards becoming a champion of Workday and using the technology to make further improvements.
  • Recruit and manage contractor extensions and compliance.
  • Create candidate pipelines through the use of LinkedIn, our ATS and other technology.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of recruitment metrics to assist with the Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure a seamless and professional on-boarding experience for new joiners.
  • Continuously review and implement recruitment processes and policies.
  • Promote a positive candidate experience for all candidates.
  • Get involved in ad-hoc projects as they arise in the People team.
Performance Objectives
Within their first 3 months, the successful incumbent will:
  • Have successfully built strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their specific requirements, and be their main point of contact for all key recruitment queries and escalation.
  • Be able to effectively navigate our ATS and HCM system, Workday.
  • Understand in detail TMHCC’s employee and contractor hiring processes and related requirements.
Skills and Experience Specification:
  • Experience in coaching hiring managers through the recruitment process.
  • Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers and building strong positive relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A credible partner to the business with the ability to influence key stakeholders and hiring managers.
