We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching swimming and will possess the ability to educate individuals of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water safety and enhancing swimming skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, ensuring that each session is tailored to the participants' abilities and goals.
- Educate students on water safety practices and techniques to enhance their swimming proficiency.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, or any necessary adjustments to lessons.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is preferred but not essential.
- A strong understanding of swimming techniques and water safety principles is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for teaching and helping others succeed in their swimming journey.
