Did you know we have over 6000 swimmers per week on our KAL Learn 2 Swim programme. As our programme grows we need our workforce to do the same. We are now recruiting for a Aquatic and Activity Activator.
This role is primarily based at Holmfirth Pool and Fitness Complex. It is a full time role (37 hours per week), that includes evening and weekend shifts.

Requirements of Aquatic and Activity Activator
- Hold the Swim England (STA) Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent ie STA, which would require internal training and RPL during the first 6 months
- Hold the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard or the ability to complete within the first 3 months of employment
- Flexibility with working hours (daytime, evenings and weekends are a must)
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience of working or volunteering in aquatics & activity
Responsibilities of Aquatic and Activity Activator
- Deliver high quality sessions in accordance with the Swim England Learn to Swim/School Swimming Charter Scheme, ensuring that all customers have a great experience.
- Ensure that parents/teachers are aware of children’s progression through the Aquatic Pathway by the effective use of KAL’s recording systems.
