Positive Behaviour Support Worker – Kirby & Surrounding Area
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact? Join our team as a Positive Behaviour Support Worker in Kirby and Clacton-on-Sea, to support a vibrant and energetic young man who lives independently with his beloved cat and receives 24-hour care. You’ll also work at a nearby service supporting a young woman with truma informed care, providing variety and opportunities to build meaningful connections.
About the Role
This rewarding role involves supporting a lively young man who enjoys:
- Active lifestyle: Walking and cycling adventures.
- Home comforts: Savouring home-cooked meals, especially his favourite Saturday morning cooked breakfast with staff.
- Engaging days: Helping him have fun and fulfilling days with encouragement and support.
You’ll split your time between this service and another nearby, supporting a young woman. While the role is fun and fulfilling, it can be challenging at times, requiring patience and support to promote positive days for both individuals.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates who:
- Are compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting others.
- Have essential experience in trauma-informed care or positive behaviour support (full training will be provided to enhance existing skills).
- Are flexible and comfortable working across two services in the Kirby area.
- Have a full UK Driver's Licence
