Positive Behaviour Support Worker – Kirby & Clacton-on-Sea

We're looking for compassionate, proactive individuals to join our team as Positive Behaviour Support Workers in Kirby and Clacton-on-Sea. This role offers the unique opportunity to support a lively and independent young man who lives with his much-loved cat and receives 24-hour care – and also to work at a nearby service supporting a young woman using a trauma-informed approach.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll share your time between two services, offering variety and the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting a young man who enjoys:
- Staying active with walks and bike rides
- Enjoying routine and home comforts – especially a cooked breakfast on Saturday mornings!
- Having engaging, supported, and fulfilling days
Providing trauma-informed care to a young woman at a nearby service, where your presence, patience, and empathy will have a daily impact.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Brings patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to their work
- Has experience with trauma-informed care or positive behaviour support (or is willing to train)
- Is flexible and comfortable working across two local services
- Holds a full UK driver’s licence

- Hourly rate: £13.50
- Hours: 20–30 hours per week (negotiable) with a permanent contract
