Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals with varying needs, helping them achieve their daily goals and improve their overall quality of life. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering independence and dignity in the individuals we serve.

Duties
- Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and engaging in social activities.
- Assist with medication management and ensure compliance with prescribed treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes independence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals facing challenges or difficulties.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the care sector.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
- Driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
