As a dedicated team Design 4 Life are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers full and part time to provide exceptional care and support to adults with physical, learning and sensory impairment as well as complex health needs.
We provide day services from a fully equipped base in BS16.
Job Description: As a Support Worker, you will:
- Support service users with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration/management.
- Provide emotional support.
- Help service users develop and maintain independence.
- Support individuals to participate in a range of educational, recreational and leisure activities both at the base and in the community.
- Participate in planning and implementing individualised person centred care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to take responsibility for meeting service users’ needs on a 1:1 basis.
- Ability to work flexible hours between 7.15am and 5.30pm Mon-Fri.
