Based in the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, this role involves supporting the Play team by engaging in play activities with our patients and their siblings.
- Welcoming patients, siblings and their families to the Activities Centre or ward playrooms.
- Engaging in play activities with patients and their siblings, under the guidance of the play team.
- Engage in play with patients at the bedside when necessary.
- Encouraging patients and their siblings to participate in play activities.
- Helping to keep toys and equipment clean, storing them away tidily.
- Setting up and packing away the Activities Centre before and after sessions.
- Helping with the preparation of activities, such as themed craft sessions.
