Looking for meaningful weekend work in complex care? We’re seeking compassionate Support Workers to join a well-established care team supporting a former RAF officer living with a high-level spinal cord injury. This is a weekend role providing both personal and clinical care while ensuring dignity, safety, and emotional support.
Our client is passionate about military history, enjoys playing strategic war games, and is known for his good sense of humour and warm presence. His home is fully adapted to meet his clinical needs and he enjoys friendly, chatty carers who treat him with respect and consistency.
What You’ll Support With:
- Repositioning and pressure area care (every 3–4 hours)
- Ceiling track hoist transfers
- BiPAP ventilation (majority of the day)
- Cough assist and suctioning (oral & nasal)
- Manual bowel evacuations and bladder washouts
- Stoma and wound care support
- Oxygen and SATs monitoring
- Medication administration and pain management
- Nutrition, hydration and laying-assisted meals
We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting clients with spinal injuries or ventilation needs
- Strong manual handling and repositioning skills
- Confident working with bowel care, suctioning, and BiPAP machines
- Kind, dependable and emotionally mature individuals
- A team player who can also work confidently on their own
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and business insurance
