About Us
Intelligent Care Services will offer a residential service, looking to provide care and support for children and young people who have complex challenging behaviours through EBD (emotional and behavioural disorders) and or additional complex needs such as learning disabilities or autism.
The children's home will be a solo residential service meaning that just one child or young person will live there with a dedicated team of support workers working around the clock to make sure that they get the best care and support available. This will include a full circle of wrap around support and positive behaviour planning to support the young person for positive outcomes, both at home and in the community to ensure that there are given the best opportunity for the future. They will have access to meaningful activity and learning through the education system (EHCP)
Our mission?
We believe every child deserves a safe and secure environment where they can thrive and develop the necessary skills to prepare life ahead. We understand that due to the nature of support we provide, the young people we support may only spend a short time with us but within that period, we will deliver care with quality and purpose whilst always putting the children or young people’s wishes and feelings as priority no.1
Example of a young person you might support with Intelligent:
The was 17 years old when the package began and is now 18 years old. The service user has a diagnosis of Frontal Lobe Syndrome, which affects their executive functioning. This presents as symptoms of limited working memory, weak understanding of complex language and difficulties with emotional regulation. The young person has a history of seizures and has been fitted with a Vagus Nerve Stimulant to manage their epilepsy. With a diverse range of needs, this created challenges when supporting the individual due to changes in cognitive understanding and rationality with certain behaviours.
Why Choose Intelligent Care Services?
With Intelligent Care, you have a unique opportunity to work with some of the children and young people in our region that need it most. We don’t just hire people, we carefully select and train our employees to the best standard so they can work with in our services with quality and purpose.
