Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients in care facilities.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report on the health and wellbeing of clients, ensuring their needs are met.
- Facilitate social activities and encourage engagement to promote mental wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Drive clients to appointments or social events as needed.
- Provide first aid and emergency response when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in care roles such as senior care, hospice care, or assisted living is highly desirable.
- Ongoing training will be provided.
- A background in nursing or relevant healthcare qualifications will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient care with compassion and respect for clients' dignity.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
