Support Worker - Ad Hoc (Scottish Borders)

Trust Care are looking to build a team of highly skilled individuals who are looking to work 2 or 3 shifts a week. You will be an integral part of our dedicated team, providing high-quality care and support to our services. Our services are based right across the Scottish Borders, meaning you will get to work in places like:
- Galashiels
- Peebles
- Selkirk
- Hawick
- Longnewton
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and transferring using safe moving and handling techniques.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their well-being and independence.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Document and report any changes in residents' condition or behaviour to the relevant staff members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of paid care home experience in the UK.
- Proficient in personal care tasks and moving and handling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
