Your job duties
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will represent the Supply Chain organization in Epiroc UK & Ireland. You will have varied tasks with considerable responsibility within the Supply Chain area, including managing the import and export process to the UK, identifying areas for improvement and, together with the team, drive continuous improvements. You will be responsible for implementing new processes and supporting the Epiroc UK & Ireland organization in Supply Chain related topics. You will also act as first-line support in the logistics and sales streams in our ERP SAP. The position reports to the Supply Chain Operations Center Manager located in Sweden.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a technical university degree, preferably in Supply Chain or a related field. Proficient in import and export processes to and from the UK, primarily with the EU. Relevant experience and good technical understanding can compensate for a lack of education. Good knowledge of MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel, and previous SAP knowledge is an advantage. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

You should have good collaboration skills, strong communication skills, and be solution-oriented, efficient and driven by working with continuous improvements. You have a flexible mindset and are happy to tackle challenges when the need arises. In this role, it is important that you can work both independently and, in a team, take initiative and possess strong execution skills.
Location and travel
The workplace will be in our premises in Hemel Hempstead. The position will also include travel within the UK and Ireland. Limited travel outside of the UK and Ireland may also occur.
