- Monday & Wednesday - 10am - 8pm
- Tuesday & Thursday - 8am - 6pm
- Sunday - 1pm - 5pm
Job Summary:
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Supervisor to work alongside the existing management team to oversee and co-ordinate our operations in our Coleraine based meat processing plant. Reporting to the Causeway Prime Team Leader, your main duties and responsibilities will be:
Responsibilities:
- Production management; produce production sheets and maintain relevant stock levels
- Uphold product quality whilst achieving yield targets.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Liase with production manager of any issues which may arise.
- Ensure health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to within production.
- Uphold DARD, Beef labelling and Environmental health regulations.
- Packing and labelling meat.
- Picking and preparing orders.
- Cleaning work area.
- Preparing stock for production.
- Adhering to all health & safety regulations.
- Any other duties as required.
Essential Criteria:
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
- Hands on commitment to getting the job done.
- Proven ability to direct and co-ordinate operations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to changing priorities based on business needs.
- Previous experience in a food production environment.
- Food hygiene knowledge.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Numerate and literate.
- Must have experience working with picking/scanning technology
- Have a flexible approach to working hours.
Desirable:
- Counterbalance fork truck licence.
- HACCP training
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

- Supervisory: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
- Counterbalance Fork truck Licence (preferred)
