About the Role
Rhode Island Coffee is offering a hands-on summer internship for a bright, driven individual passionate about coffee, data, and operational excellence. You'll work directly with our Central Operations team to support initiatives that improve efficiency, optimise product performance, and streamline inventory across our stores.
This is a rare chance to gain deep, cross-functional exposure inside a growing independent coffee brand.
What You'll Be Doing
- Product & Sales Analysis – track trends and performance across stores
- Inventory Management – review and improve stock systems & ordering
- Central Ops Support – help design, document, and refine operational procedures
- Operational Efficiencies – work with leadership to reduce waste and streamline workflows
Who We're Looking For
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning)
- Comfortable using or learning AI tools (ChatGPT, Excel Copilot, Notion AI, etc.)
- Analytical mindset – curious, data-driven, and practical
- Organised and detail-focused
- Hospitality experience a bonus (but not required)
