## Job Overview
We are seeking a Sandwich Maker to join our team at a improving sandwich shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and enjoy creating delicious sandwiches for our customers with a strong focus on customer service and build quality.
##Shift periods
Applicants must be able to work from 0630 (earliest) until 2130 (latest), depending on shift.
## Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches according to customer orders
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food preparation
- Utilise time management skills to fulfill orders promptly during busy periods
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Prepare the store for opening or closing depending on shift
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional items to customers
## Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for order processing and cash handling
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £8.60-£12.21 per hour
