We are looking to recruit Student Journey Advisor to join our Operational Delivery team at our vibrant London Moorgate Campus
Please note this is a fixed term contract until April 2026, working full time (35 hours per week)
As a Student Journey Advisor, you will be the dedicated contact for an allocated cohort of students for non-academic enquiries, information and advice from enrolment all the way through to successful completion of the student programme.
This role will guide and support students through every step of their learning journey, ensuring that each student has the best possible experience and achieves the highest outcomes.
As our Student Journey Advisor, you will:
- Proactively welcome students within your allocated cohort via email providing contact information and a summary of available services and support
- Support orientation and familiarisation to build a sense of belonging with the student for settling in to their course and campus
- Engage in one-to-one discussion sessions by offering appointments for the student to discuss topics such as progression, retention, success and all other related advice
- Advise students that are considering withdrawing, intermitting or transferring their studies. Discuss options and agree best possible outcome to ensure student retention, progression and success
- Participate in relevant campus-based events where required to assist in the promotion and awareness of the Student Journey service
We are looking for people who are/have:
- Experience of providing information, advice and guidance to individuals on a one-to-one basis
- Able to provide a high level of service, support and advice to students and staff with a polite, helpful positive attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience of work in a multi-faceted role that requires you to have broad knowledge on a range of different services to recommend to customers
- Able to manage own time effectively to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
