Job Summary
For our Dundee Espresso Lab shop, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective time management, and the ability to communicate clearly with both staff and customers. A passion for retail management and a commitment to achieving sales targets are essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Manage daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and staff scheduling.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and improve profitability.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing a retail team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing store operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups; multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous.
- Experience in retail management or sales management is preferred.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
