We are seeking a Stock Administrator to join our team to help maintain and process the incoming and outgoing stock via our ERP stock control software at our Newcastle site.

Hours - 8.30 -17.30 ( 60 min break)
Reporting to: Stock Administration Manager
Qualifications: Work Experience and Competence based, GCSE/NVQ or equivalent in Maths and English. ITC skills essential

General office management skills coupled with the relevant skills and experience to enable effective and accurate administration and data processing of stock movement, goods in and out, internal picking notes and customer delivery notes.
Excellent face to face communicator able to demonstrate ability to work with differing departmental needs and experience in managing work flow in a busy commercial environment.
IT skills around Microsoft office software such as word, excel, and e-mail and use of scanners for online documentation
ERP, MRP experience ideal as system driven process
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Accurate administration and data entry of goods in, process orders, cut notes, delivery notes and re-location of stock.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Daily accurate processing of stock pick notes for customer and branch network (transfer) sales orders via ERP stock control software.
2. Data entry of supplier delivery notes (purchase orders) onto Holme Dodsworth stock software and accurately recording the correct weights, costs, grades and lengths. Ensure stock labels are printed and passed to Warehouse Supervisor.
3. Updating internal location changes of stock movement between warehouses, customer, and branches. Checking qty matches screen, raise with Warehouse Manager if issues. Splitting stock/ locations.
4. Sending out accurate delivery notes via stock processing for transport of customer/branch sales orders. Communicate with the Warehouse in regards to locals, wagons to branches and 3rd party material distribution. Create and distribute manifests to relevant areas.
5. Distribution and communication of internal paperwork to sales, warehouse and purchasing staff. Advising sales and Stock manager of any issues, such as incorrect codes, prices and any other problems that would affect the sale.
6. Recording transport manifest for internal local and national and 3rd party material distribution.
7. To assist in answering the telephone, email and face to face stock queries
8. Scanning both electronic and manual filing of all supplier material certs. Requesting certs from sales/ suppliers via phone email.
9. Investigate stock queries raised on tickets and location changes with support from Warehouse Supervisors and Stock Manager. Using the radio to communicate with the warehouse team.
10. Restocking of stationary in the office, warehouse gloves, and paperwork for the warehouse e.g forklift and machine checks.
11. Distribute paperwork from the branch wagons onto the relevant salesperson.
