We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Stairs Installer who is skilled in welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and welding of structural steel stairs on construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble structural steel stairs according to drawings and specifications.
- Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and arc welding on steel components as required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Inspect installed stairs for structural integrity and finish quality.
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in the installation and welding process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Structural Steel Stairs Installer or similar role.
- Proficient welding skills (MIG, TIG, Stick welding) with relevant certifications preferred.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to steel fabrication and installation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
