Are you ready to bring calm to the chaos and confidence to the commute? We’re looking for a Station Announcer to join our team at Manchester Victoria – one of the North’s busiest and most dynamic stations. Your voice will be more than just announcements – it’ll be reassurance, guidance, and a key part of our customers' experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a vital part of our operational team, you’ll:
Operate Train Announcing and Customer Information Systems
- ️ Provide timely and accurate updates during delays, cancellations, and platform changes
Liaise with Control, Signalling, and Train Crew Depot teams to ensure seamless communication
Keep detailed records of train delays and their causes
Ensure staff and team leaders are always informed of any unit or platform alterations

Your Pay & Perks
➕ £24,088 while completing your initial training (first 6 months)
➕ £30,086 base salary after training
