Afterschool Club Coach / Holiday Camp Coach

Various primary schools and community venues
Rate of Pay:
£10- £25 per hour
Job Type:
Part Time / Seasonal
Hours:
After school hours: 14:00-16:00
Holiday Camps: 09:00-15:00
Start Time:
September 2025
Job Purpose:
To plan and deliver high-quality, fun, and safe sports or activity-based sessions for primary school children in line with Elevate Sports' values and safeguarding policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured, engaging sessions appropriate to age and ability
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children
- Set up and pack away equipment responsibly
- Promote positive behaviour and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and Elevate Sports management
- Complete basic administrative tasks as required (e.g. registers, incident reports)
3. Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Full driving license and access to own transport
- Experience working with children
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Positive, enthusiastic, and responsible
- Commitment to child safeguarding
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
Desirable Criteria
- Coaching or teaching qualification
- First Aid and Safeguarding training
- Knowledge of multiple sports/ activities
- Flexible availability (including holidays)
- Experience delivering sports/ activity sessions
