Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join our team and inspire athletes to achieve their full potential. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in developing skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship among participants.
This role beginning in September is for 5 breakfast clubs and 5 After school clubs to begin with, with the chances of hours to increase with the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Educate and train children in various sports disciplines
- Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions tailored to individual and team needs
- Motivate and encourage athletes to enhance their performance and reach their goals
- Develop training programmes focusing on skill improvement, fitness, and strategy
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to aid in their development
- Organise and oversee team practices, matches, and competitions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions and events
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sports coaching or relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge of different sports techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff
- Passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels
- Organisational skills to plan training schedules and manage team logistics efficiently
- Valid coaching certifications or willingness to obtain them

Pay: £150.00-£175.00 per week
