Position: Sports Coach

Package: Up to £25 per hour
Location: London and surrounding areas

What you will be delivering:
To deliver a sport/activity of your choice to a range of students at one of our partner organisations. Term time only.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
- To plan fun engaging sessions which show the progression of each individual
- To have clear transparent communication with Lions
- Working independently, managing your own resources and professional development
- Undertake upskilling opportunities made possible by Lions in the key sports we offer, to further your professional development
- Dealing professionally with Schools and/or Sports clubs
- Reporting feedback to students/players, staff and parents
- Taking initiative and leading on delegated areas of responsibility
- Ensuring a professional appearance and approach to work
- Promoting equality and diversity in sport, and active health and wellbeing
- To advertise Lions coaches and courses where appropriate
Key Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Coaching Level 2 qualification - Desirable
- Hold a DBS or willing to obtain one - Essential
- Ability to travel to the school - Essential
- Passionate about sport and increasing participation - Essential
- Good communicator - Essential
- Confidence - Essential
- Fluent English - Essential
- Experience working in a school environment - Desirable
- Qualified in first aid - Desirable
